Preview Hofstra (3 game win streak) versus FAU on Long Island
With the week Layoff for the Owls, it’s a sure bet that they will be ready to upset their next foe. Although Hofstra may have larger numbers, you should take with you no doubt that an upset can be in the making. 

 Hofstra comes off a win versus Towson, with leading scorer Charles Jenkins. His 26 points propelled the team to victory and he is the most prolific scorer for all active players in the country.
 

Other players for Hofstra include Dwan McMillen and Mike Moore. Each of their scores for their third game in the win streak were 10 and 15 points respectively. Other notables are Center Greg Washington who chipped in for 11 points.

 

Hofstra University, home of the Pride plays at David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex which holds over 5,000 seats on Long Island, NY.

 

HU has been in a little tumult with a new Coaching change, (Mo Cassara, three straight wins since taking over) while they have one of the most productive players in the NCAA’s, student/athlete Charles Jenkins.

 

Jenkins has scored a career 1,878 points which makes him most productive in the Country. Last year, Jenkins scored 702 points and needs 509 points this season to break the all-time leading scorer Antoine Agudio of Hofstra with 2,276 points.

 

Hofstra expects contention in the Colonial Athletic Conference (CAC) for the 2010-2011 seasons. There are 12 Schools in the CAC, and Hofstra ranks 4th overall.
