FAU victories versus Warner Southern Basketball
The two leading scorers for FAU versus Warner Southern this night were Greg Gaant and Dennis Mavin. For Mavin, starting your first official College game and coming away with 14 points is quite an accomplishment.

In addition, Dennis produced 5/9 from the field, was 4/5 from the charity stripe, combined for a total of three defensive rebounds and 1 assist, 1 turnover and 1 steal in this student athlete’s gleaming game.

Second year man Greg Gaant was exceptional as usual. As a freshman he finished fifth in the Sun-Belt in scoring and went 9 games with at least 20 or more points.

Gaant had 20 points this game as well (November 17, 2010). He went 8/12 in scoring 2/2 from the foul line, collected a total of four rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Still a freshman, Gaant shattered the record for 3-pointers in a season. All the information provided here is available in one place, and that is at http://tinyurl.com/39nvk7w

Starting the week off right was Alex Tucker, who was awarded student-athlete of the week along with Cross Country Runner Frederike Feil. Look for Alex Tucker to continue his leadership role translating into the most time on the floor for the Owls of FAU.

One more stand-out to wrap the game up was Sophomore Kore White from Dillard HS. With his 16 points, 7/10 from the field, 2/2 from the free throw line, a total of 7 rebounds, two assist and 1 blocked shot could be a saving grace for the Owls late in the season.
