A freshman who has made her place on court at Patch Reef Park Tennis Center with a 6-2, 6-4 win, Ryan comes from close by (Delray Beach) and has spanned the globe and across Europe in search of her true game. Marlene is ranked 16th nationally with the USTA (United States Tennis Association).
Ryan, the counterpart to her doubles partner Justine Humair, pulled down a victory 8-6 to thwart a clean sweep in doubles.
Winning 4 out of 6 matches in singles, the Lady Owls got an equally impressive victory from Cassie Bergason 6-1, 6-3 against Kaitlyn Carpenter.
